The Tindall Foundation Fund
WestREAP and Buller REAP are proud to work in partnership with The Tindall Foundation as Local Donation Managers (LDMs), supporting community-led initiatives across the Westland, Grey, and Buller districts since 2006.
Each year, The Tindall Foundation provides funding for local distribution on Te Tai Poutini. These donations help strengthen communities and support initiatives that contribute to positive outcomes for families and whānau.
Applications are reviewed annually by a committee made up of representatives from Buller REAP, WestREAP, and community members. The committee considers applications and reviews accountability reports to ensure funding is making a meaningful local impact.
The Tindall Foundation’s funding approach is guided by its commitment to Intergenerational Wellbeing for Aotearoa. Supported initiatives should align with one or more of their key focus areas, including:
-
Parents, carers, and young children
-
Equitable access to life’s essential needs
-
Identity and social cohesion
-
Rangatahi empowerment and pathways
-
Resourced and connected communities
