Defensive Driving

Defensive Driving!

Creative Spaces

Art4me is a creative space on the West Coast where adults can come and work on their own visual art projects. Sessions in Hokitika, Greymouth Blackball and other venues on the coast. Materials, tutor support and encouragement are supplied. Beginner, experienced or rusty: do you want to try? You’ll fit right in.
Te Reo Māori

Our experienced tutors provide te reo Māori courses, for Beginners through to Advanced, in Greymouth and Hokitika. Click here for current programmes.
Kapa Haka

We provide a fun kapa haka community group Tuesdays 5.30-7.00 pm at the Grey High School Whare. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. KOHA entry!
Koru Club / Supported Learners Programme

Our Supported Learner programme for people with a disability provides social interaction and a range of activities including cooking, dancing, art and crafts, life skills and much more.
DriveWest

In collaboration with the Westland Safer Communities Coalition we provide a 2 week (8 hour) Learner Licence programme for Westland residents over the age of 16. $20 covers all fees including test fees for those who have completed this course.

Raranga / Weaving

WestREAP provides raranga/weaving courses to learn how to make beautiful art from harakeke. Register your interest and we will let you know when/where the next course is running.
Significant places of Kāti Waewae

We can provide guided visits to places of significance to Kati (Ngāti) Waewae to learn the stories and history of our local area.
Sewing Courses

Interested in sewing? if you want to learn this skill or you are interested in joining a more advanced course tell us what you are keen on! We have done Victorian costumes, hats, 1920s repurposing, suggestions welcome!
Mosaics

Come along to one of our mosaics workshops and learn a new skill.
Digital Literacy

We can provide courses on Word, Excel spreadsheets, Canva, Google Forms, Using Social Media, Web page design. Contact us to find out more.
Stained Glass Workshop

If you are a beginner or have a project on the go you need help with our tutor can teach you the basics of cutting glass and soldering and more.
