Creative Spaces

Creative Spaces is run by experienced artist Kate Buckley and includes the very popular Art 4 Me programme. Check out the Creative Spaces website for more information.
Te Reo Māori

Our experienced tutors provide te reo Māori courses, for Beginners through to Advanced, in Greymouth and Hokitika. Click here for current programmes.
Kapa Haka

We provide a fun kapa haka community group Tuesdays 5.30-7.30 pm at the Grey High School Whare. All ages welcome. $50/adult per term, $20/child (accompanied).
Koru Club / Supported Learners Programme

Our Supported Learner programme for people with a disability provides social interaction and a range of activities including cooking, dancing, art and crafts, life skills and much more.
DriveWest

In collaboration with the Westland Safer Communities Coalition we provide a free 2 week (8 hour) Learner Licence programme. We also offer restricted and full licence opportunities in Greymouth and Hokitika. Contact us for more information.

Raranga / Weaving

WestREAP provides raranga/weaving courses to learn how to make beautiful art from harakeke.
Significant places of Kāti Waewae

We can provide guided visits to places of significance to Kati (Ngāti) Waewae to learn the stories and history of our local area.
Sewing Courses

Learn to sew, sew your own Victorian Wardrobe and other sewing courses available with experienced sewing tutors.
Mosaics

Come along to one of our mosaics workshops and learn a new skill.
Learn Basic Excel

An introduction to Excel Spreadsheets course is available. Let us know if you're interested.
Stained Glass Workshop

Learn the basics of cutting glass and soldering. You will make a glass suncatcher using copper foil.
May 22nd, June 12th and June 22th. 10am to 4pm.
Fee = $60 NO SPACES AVAILABLE but register your interest for the next offering in Term 3.
Upholstery Courses

Weekend upholstery courses for beginners and improvers in Greymouth and Hokitika with experienced tutor, Steve McDonald. Limited spaces available for next offering in October. Fee $160. BYO materials. Please register your interest.
