Mosaics
Create something beautiful for your home and garden!
Discover the delights of mosaic design and learn how to use materials such as broken tiles, china and shells or
pre-cut tile shapes to make a mosaic frame, pot plant holder or other simple objects.
Stained Glass
Welcome to the Stained Glass course, an experience suitable for individuals of all skill levels.
Whether you’re a beginner seeking some solid foundations or an experienced glass artist aiming to grow your techniques and skills, this course is perfect for you.
Raranga - Harakeke Weaving
Weaving is a living art form passed down from the ancestors and a strong symbol of the survival of Māori culture. Courses run during the year in different areas as funding allows.
Defensive Driving
Enhance your driving skills and become an all round, safer driver with our Defensive Driving Course.
This course provides you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to be a safer driver, such as identifying hazards early, so you can reduce the risk of being involved a crash.
Restricted Licence holders can use the certificate from this course to receive a time reduction from 18 months down to 12 months, if under 25 years of age. If you are 25 years of age plus, you can reduce your time from 6 months to 3 months
Te reo
This course uses the Ataarangi method or rod/rakau method. Tikanga Māori will also be covered.

English Conversation
Come along for a relaxed and informal hour where you can practice your English speaking, listening and writing skills.
Your tutor, Sally, will tailor the sessions to the content that is relevant for you and your life. Whether that is chatting to co-workers at work or going about your day in town - we want to make it relevant and quick to use!
Kapa Haka

This course is for everyone regardless of your experience and will introduce you to the world of Māori Performing Arts.

Attendance is free however koha is appreciated.
Koru Club
Our Supported Learning group or Koru club as we like to put it, runs Mondays from 10am - 1pm, during term for Adults with disabilities of all ages.
