GATE – Gifted & Talented Education

WestREAP provides enrichment programmes for school nominated participants using specialised tutors in a range of subjects (see below). Workshops may be 1-2 days in length and students experience an intensive immersion on a particular topic. Students enjoy mixing with peers from other schools and usually return with an item of work, completed to a high standard.

WestREAP endeavours to deliver 3 programmes each school term, 2 aimed at Year7/8 students and 1 from Year 4 to 6 students. Groups of up to 20 students are nominated by their teachers to attend.

Art – Chalk & Pastel, Clay, Pottery
