Extension Education Programme

Each School Year, WestREAP budgets for a small grant pool for schools and groups to apply to, to help finance Extension programmes. These grants can be for visiting tutors, choirs, sports meetings or any extra curricular activity.

Applications can be made at the end of the year, for the following year, with applications closing on 1 November. A small committee (schools co-ordinator and 2 representatives from schools who have not applied), consider the applications and decide on the recipients before the end of the school year.

Projects must align with Government Priorities in Education and meet criteria of;
Remoteness
No. of Students Involved
No. of Schools Involved

Grants can up uplifted following the event and will be paid after receipt of the Extension Education Evaluation form.
