Stepping Stones

Under contract to Work and Income, our Stepping Stones programme helps support people into a sustainable pathway to employment and to acquire the required skills to obtain employment. The programme assists people to "foresee" a better tomorrow through encouragement, compassion, facilitating choice, and overcoming obstacles to change.

In work support is designed to support people who have been out of the workforce as they begin their new employment to make the transition to sustainable employment.  We help the new employee and the employer to work through any initial trials that may arise in the new relationship to ensure that the working relationship is healthy and progressive.

These programmes are accessed only on referral from Work and Income service centres in Greymouth and Hokitika.
