Play Gym & Gym Fun

Play Gym is a gymnastic class for 3-5 year olds assisted by Mum, Dad or a caregiver. The activities used are aimed at;

encouraging brain development
vestibular (balancing) stimulation
primitive reflex inhibition
gross motor skills
vision
development of fundamental movement patterns.

Gym Fun is a similar programme for 5 to 10 year olds, with 45 minutes sessions held after school.

We are lucky to have the services of tutor Anna Morgan, from Greymouth. As well as taking the sessions, Anna will be training a local tutor, who will eventually take over the class.

Classes are held at Hokitika Primary School Hall, on Wednesday afternoons, during school term time.

Enrolment is essential and payment for the term must be made upon enrolment.
