Computers In Homes Buller 2010-2011

Computers in Homes is a free programme designed to assist people to become familiar with using computers for their every day lives. It's a family based programme that give adults a chance to begin learning about using computers at home. For our children, it's an opportunity to practice at home what they are learning at school. As a family it's a great way to learn and share experiences together.

The Programme

Participants in the programme have (at least) five sessions learning the very basics about the computer starting with;

  • how to turn it on
  • what it can do
  • how to look after it at home.

Where is it available?

After 5 years of successfully delivering Computers in Homes to over 300 families in our Westland district communities – WestREAP is very proud to work with Buller REAP, The Buller Bay Information and Resource Centre and the Murchison Adult Learning Centre with the support of the Department of Internal Affairs and the 2020 Communications Trust to introduce Computers in Homes to the Buller Region
