Children's Day Logo

The tenth Children’s Day is being celebrated on Sunday 7th March.

Are you part of this?  If not, there are some great events for families to enjoy plus a free bus service provided by Cliff Sandrey in the Greymouth area.  For full details see The West Coast Messenger on 3rd March.

We have a sneak preview of the main events at the Aquatic Centre, Shantytown and the Regent Theatre.

WestREAP are sponsoring free entry to the Aquatic Centre between 10 – 2.30.  Greymouth Mayor Tony Kokshoorn is giving his time to help out on the hydroslide.  There will also be a gold coin donation sausage sizzle to build up strength for the next adventure!

Shantytown have free entry between 10 – 2 with a treasure hunt for families or individuals (depending on age).  Free ice cream for those who complete it all successfully!

The Regent Theatre is having a half price ticket film at 11.00 a.m.  See press for details of this great family film.

Cliff Sandrey Contracting Ltd is providing a wonderful free bus service during the day to help families get to the different events and back.  The timetable will be shown in The West Coast Messenger with pick-ups starting as far out as Runanga, Cobden, Dobson and Paroa.  They are timed to get families into town to see the family movie at the Regent Theatre and options out to the Aquatic Centre and Shantytown.
