Adult Literacy and Numeracy Support

Our Adult Literacy Practitioner: Lesley Webb works in consultation with other tutors and trainers and/or directly with adult learners in our community.

Her role to support learning for people who want to engage in further study or training but haven’t had a very healthy experience in the past, those who have difficulty with language literacy and/or numeracy

Lesley also provides support for people who may want to retrain for new work and have been out of education and learning for some time.

Lesley works on establishing the priority for learning either directly with the learner or in consultation with the tutor. She will assess the learner’s foundation literacy level and then assist them to improve their skills in line with their own learning goals.
